Museum teen program focuses on cyanotypes

The University of Alaska Museum of the North will offer this month's installment of the ARTSci Teen Studio program on Saturday, March 23.

The monthly Saturday program runs from 2-4 p.m. Each month features a different theme. This month's theme will focus on cyanotypes. Participants will discover how early photographic images for scientific study were created and make their own UV light-activated pictures using a variety of materials.

Teen Studio is open to 13- to 18-year-olds and is free with museum admission and for museum members. Preregistration is required and teens can sign up for one event or the entire series. To register or for more information, visit bit.ly/uamnteenstudio or call 907-474-7505.
