Tickets for the 2018 Alaska International Piano-e-Competition are still on sale. The event features performances every day through May 31.

The Fairbanks Symphony Orchestra’s Yamaha CFX Concert Grand Piano is the featured instrument during the competition, and is played by each contestant.  Because of its Disklavier capabilities, the competition will be live-streamed.

The final three artists will perform a concerto with the Fairbanks Symphony Orchestra on May 30 at 7 p.m., and the gold medalist will give an encore performance May 31 at 7 p.m.

For more information or to buy tickets, contact the Fairbanks Symphony Orchestra at 474-5407 or visit www.epianoalaska.com.
