Police Chief Sean McGee retires after 20 years

at Sean's retirement get together. He has been with UAF since 1993.McGee grew up in Long Island, New York. He has a bachelor's degree in justice from UAF and is a graduate of the police academy in Sitka. McGee served public safety officer with the North Slope Borough before coming to the UAF Police Department. While at the UAF PD, Sean has held the rank of officer, sergeant, lieutenant and captain. In 1998, Sean was asked to join the Alaska State Trooper's Specialized Emergency Reaction Team and graduated Sean graduated from the FBI's National Academy in 2000.
