Research showcase features encounters in avalanche country

The University of Alaska Fairbanks will host a free public lecture, "Encounters in Avalanche Country, 1880 - 1910," Wednesday, April 3 at 5:30 p.m. in the Schaible Auditorium on the UAF campus.
History professor Diana Di Stefano will give the presentation, which is part of the weekly research showcase hosted by the Office of Undergraduate Research and Scholarly Activity.
Parking is free after 5 p.m. and refreshments will be provided.
