Special author event honoring Elizabeth Peratrovich

A book reading Monday, Feb. 24, will honor Elizabeth Peratrovich and the League of
Women Voters' 100th birthday.
Annie Boochever will discuss her newest book, "Fighter in Velvet Gloves: Alaska Civil
Rights Hero Elizabeth Peratrovich," published by the University of Alaska Press. The event opens at 6:30 p.m., and the
program begins at 7 p.m. in the Noel Wien Pubic Library auditorium, 1215 Cowles St.
The event is presented by League of Women Voters of the Tanana Valley, the University
