The Sustainable Village, a brand new campus residence, is ready to house 16 students who are willing to use team work to shape the experience. Applications are being accepted online at www.uaf.edu/sustainability/sustainable-village/.

The village consists of four four-bedroom homes focused around a sustainable lifestyle and include solar panels, sustainable materials, a home-grown garden, energy usage meters and more. Located on the southern edge of campus, the village  is a ten-minute walk to central campus and accessible from the on-call shuttle bus. Each home has running water and a shared kitchen.
