The University of Alaska Fairbanks will host the 11th annual Really Free Market recycling event on Saturday, May 18, in the parking lot next to the Lola Tilly Commons. The free recycling event helps find new homes for donated items.

Items for the market are donated by the Fairbanks community and must be clean, safe and usable. Everything is free — no bartering, selling or swapping is allowed. Available items include clothing, furniture, sporting equipment, tools, books, toys, electronics, household goods, tires and more.

Volunteers will help unload donated items from 8-10 a.m. The market is open to shoppers from 10-11 a.m.

After the market closes, unclaimed electronic items will go to Green Star of Interior Alaska. Books will go to the Literacy Council of Alaska. The Fairbanks Resource Agency's Closet Connections will receive the rest.
