Welcome Week offers multiple events

UAF's student organizations have put together multiple special events to welcome students
to campus for the fall 2015 semester.
Here are the highlights from Welcome Week 2015:
- Chris Jones — hypnotist. Sept. 1, 10 p.m., Hess Recreation Center.
- Party In the Park — clubs, games, ice cream, music, giveaways and more. Sept. 2, 1-4 p.m., Constitution Park.
- Open Mic Night — show off your talents to Nanooks joining the family this year. Sept. 2, 8-10 p.m. Arctic Java, Wood Center.
- Mission IMPROVable — free improv comedy. Sept. 4, 8 p.m., Wood Center ballroom.
- Wood Center Late Nighter — free games, activities, root beer floats and giveaways. Sept. 4, 9-11 p.m., Wood Center.
Events are co-hosted by the Student Activities Office, New Student Orientation and the Leadership, Involvement and Volunteer Experience program.
